If you have ever bought a short-life battery for your mag you’ll love this one. My distributor “saved” me money by switching to a cheaper battery that didn’t last. These are time tested and last me nearly 5 yrs. on the job and then I give them to my brother-in-law who gets another two out of them. I am very pleased with this product.

2 Stars These batteries leaked for me
My mag charger flashlight was working well a month ago, but today I tried it and it was dead. Put it on the AC charger, as usual, but after 8 hours it was hot (the flashlights body) so I tried the light (still charging), and nothing happened. Upon opening the tailcap, white powder dumped out, and the insides are totally corroded. Thankfully it didn’t start a fire or explode. The flashlight is useless now. This was my second battery I’ve had but it leaked badly.

ps - I always charged it for at least 12 hours, and this battery was obtained directly from mag instruments.

This is the first time I have bought this battery stick from a source other than Galls. My original battery that came with the flashlight lasted approx 3 years. Since then I have been re-ordering from Galls and have had to replace the battery every year. I had heard the supplier they get theirs from is sub-standard so I decided to switch and get this years battery from Amazon. So far so good, only time will tell…

5 Stars SAFETY!!!!
We sailed from Charleston South Carolina to Whangarei, New Zealand last year with 2 of these onboard. In the middle of the night, when something goes “bang” this is what I grab for when heading up on deck. The underwater flashlights, leds, and waterproof units are great for their specific tasks, but when you don’t know what your are going to be getting into, this is the one that I want with me!

This is a great flashlight! The price from Amazon is half of what Snap On Tools charges. If you are older or have trouble seeing in dark places, this is the flashlight for you. One word of caution–do not drop when hot!! You will be replacing the bulb.

I bought this flashlight in 1996 and it is clearly the best flashlight I have ever owned. As a police officer I needed a flashlight that was durable, could light up the occupants of a vehicle at night to the point where they are blinded, and allow me to see everything in the vehicle. This flashlight is literally a lifesaver. I have replaced the battery pack once and a few bulbs, and I still use it today. Worth every penny!

These straps worked out great. We were able to move stuff around without breaking a sweat, or my back. If you are moving something and need to walk a long distance, consider the shoulder strap set they sell on amazon as well. I now have both in my collection of tools, and I am sure people will be trying to borrow these left and right.

5 Stars Forearm Forklifts are great
I recently moved and thought I’d give this product a try. We moved several large pieces of furniture with no problems at all. They worked amazingly well on the front load washer and dryer, but didn’t work so well with the tv.(Sony 32″ xbr crt…very front heavy) The tv was to front heavy to balance on the straps, so that is not a flaw with the straps. We did have some trouble trying to maneuver a couch down the basement stairs, due to the tight clearance. One thing to consider is be aware of what is above you before you lift, as we almost knocked out a low hanging light. I would recommend these straps to anyone without hesitation.

The Forearm Forklifts definitely make it much easier to move heavy objects. I’m always afraid of hurting my back, and these things encourage me to use proper lifting technique (using the knees, not bending at the waist).

Also, sometimes objects are heavy to move because you can’t get a good grip on them, not because they’re heavy. The Forearm Forklifts support whatever you’re lifting from the bottom, so you can use your hands to hold the sides. Then I can concentrate on moving safely from point A to point B instead of worrying that I’m going to drop something.

I question the supposed benefit:

If you were lucky enough to take high school level physics, you know Weight is a force on an object due to gravity. You also know according to Newtonian physics, mass is measured in kilograms (kg) and is the amount of matter in an object. Weight doesn’t change unless you add or remove matter from the object or change the gravity acting upon the object.

To change mass into weight we use Newton’s 2nd Law which is F = ma. The weight is the force and gravity the acceleration, it can be rewritten as:

W=mg

W is the weight, measured in newtons. m is the mass, measured in kilograms and g is the acceleration due to gravity, measured in meters per second squared; it is equal to about 10 on the Earth. The exact value of Earths equatorial surface gravity is 9.7801 m.s 2.

If the manufacturer’s claim about reducing the weight of an object by 66% were true, I would purchase the straps and put pieces in my shoes so I could eat all the ice cream I want and still loose weight. That would be cool.

The platform I ordered is the perfect accessory to my Little Giant ladder that I recently purchased. Initially, I was sent the wrong item. Upon contacting Amazon, I was immediately emailed the necessary mailing labels and forms to return the item. Amazon promptly shipped the platform, and I received it in two days (Hawaii). I am very impressed with the quick response and corrective actions taken by Amazon. This is one of the many reasons that when shopping online, Amazon is always my first stop.

I love my little giant ladder, but this platform was a disappointment. It is only useful in a-frame configuration. What i needed was an adjustable platform for working as an extention ladder or in 90 degree configs.

1 Star Don’t waste your time or your money.
I could write a book as long as this one about its deficiencies. My suggestion: buy a copy of a good general wine book, subscribe to a reputable wine publication and make friends with the owner of a local wine shop with whom you can develop a relationship of trust and seek his/her advice.

I have gotten away from writting reviews, but I needed a forum to vent my dislike for this book. Fortunately for me, I borrowed a copy from the library. I cannot imagine paying anything for this book. I do not understand the point of the book. I only used listings that had websites and I found them all to charge as much as a local vendor for their products. How this is supposed to be wholesale is beyond me. For auto parts it lists only one site and they were higher than local stores. They listed a textbook selling site that supposedly charges cost, again I can do much better right here at Amazon. I was hoping to find a book telling me how to buy things at wholesale prices, then I would resell them and make extra money. This book told me how to buy things at retail prices, which I had already figured out on my own. I just cannot understand why this book was published.

This book is not for people looking for serious wholesaling.
All this information can be found by doing a search on the internet. I found very few true wholesalers. I have been able to find much better pricings at alternate sites. Find a different book to buy if you’re truly looking for real wholesale companies.

If you are looking for BARGAINS and you are incapable or just impatient to use a search engine like Google or Yahoo, buy this book. The word “wholesale” was greatly misused in the title of this book and interestingly enough, when I purchased this book (thankfully on a bargain rack) at my local book store, the lady told me that the name had changed beginning in 2003…..interesting.

He can be confusing. He talks in one chapter about the Bid being 36.10 and Ask being 36.25 and if the specialist has a bid in for 500 shares for 36.10, put in an order for 600 shares and your order will move in front of the specialists. That’s true except for one thing. If I want to buy the stock, I have to buy the Ask for 36.25, NOT the bid at 36.10, as the specialist does, to make his money. Very confusing, indeed.

This is a new 2008 edition. There have been many changes in Wall Street in the past few years. As a new trader, I found Mr. Farrell’s book to be helpful, insightful and good reading. His trading techniques work!

The book is outdated because of decimalization but it is, probably,the only book on the market which explains what the specialist and market makers are doing and how they position themselfs in the market and WHAT IS THEIR ROLL in the so called supply and demand world. I am talking about the macro picture and not the scalping trading. Start from here and you will be among the 1% constant winners in the market. Discover what are they (the specialists and market makers) doing and who they are (identify them first)and you will trade along with the best traders in the world indeed.Good trading.
